Born in the time when gas cost a nickel, Loyde Rascoe (aka Floyd Rasc), started to make his way through this world. Completely unknown (besides to law enforcement) until his debut in the Fiero community in 1997, where Loyde bragged of owning more than 240 Fiero's! For the record the cost of 240 Fiero's is equivalent to the price of a large cheese pizza with two toppings and a cheesy bread side order. Using this to his advantage, Loyde took on many customers. These customers gave their cars, money, time, and parts to Loyde. After getting nothing in return the customers soon went to Loyde's House and demanded what was theirs. Many left unsatisfied. The details of which will be outlined here. After being caught, Loyde changed his name to "Floyd Rasc" and entered the BMW S1000RR community.
Loyde is nothing if not consistent. Using the underhanded tactics he developed in the Fiero Community, Loyde was soon developing his own "software" for the 2020 BMW S1000RR. Loyde claims he has developed a custom tune to relieve the issues of the dreaded "dead spot" in the throttle. WE WILL SAY THIS. His file does exactly that. It removes the dead spot. Where's the issue? He claims he has a custom tune for the bike but it isn't custom, it's a copy/paste Euro file. The European model S1000RR does not suffer from the US dead spot issue BUT it also isn't 100% throttle either. He also claims he has custom fueling but doesn't. This is seen on 650ib's video (YouTube) where his motorcycle almost dies at idle after the EXWerks Flash. If he was able to make a custom file himself, you wouldn't need a "servo buddy" for exhaust check engine lights. Other companies that flash the S1000RR do not require servo buddies because they can actually tune. Other companies also charge half the amount EXWerks does for a better tune.
Want the EXWerks Flash and want to head to the dealer ever? Don't bother. Your warranty will be instantly voided as soon as the dealer plugs the bike into "ISTA" (BMW diagnostic software). "EU Content" will be enabled and displayed. The dealer will be sitting there wondering how you did that. This goes for the 2020 S1000RR and the 10-19 S1000RR. We forgot to mention that Loyde also does bootleg RCK (BMW Race Calibration Kit) with copy/paste mapping. All will instantly show at the dealer and your warranty will be voided.
We saw this series of screenshots on Facebook. Look how they connected the dots to reveal why Loyde Rascoe is in disguise as "Floyd Rasc". Here's the story: Someone messages “Floyd” on the S1000RR Forum and Floyd replies talking trash about a competitor, completely unprovoked. He provides his name and number with the message. This establishes “BMW_388” is Floyd Rasc. His Instagram is also BMW_388.
“BMW_388” is the original poster and owner of “XWorks”. He outlines what the flash does and how to contact him for purchase. The only way to pay him is through a Zelle account transfer (which is notorious for no chargebacks) that has an Asian ladies name on it – not his own. So let's place that in the odd file.
Floyd goes by “Floyd Rasc” on Facebook. Reviewing his profile I can see he’s the admin and creator of a page for a website, BMWHP.COM. Since this information was posted on Facebook, Floyd did some housecleaning. He deleted the BMWHP page on Facebook (only had 7 followers after two years of operation LOL.
Going to his Floyd's website, BMWHP.COM, you can see an address and a weirdly inputted phone number. Why do people do that with phone numbers? To hide from search crawlers. This phone number matches the phone number given to the guy in picture #1. The address listed is a PO BOX in Texas so they decided to Google search it. He's since had to pull down the BMW HP logo off his website because BMW didn't want to be associated with him. Compliments to whomever reported his site to BMW.
Here’s where it gets weird. Google searching the PO BOX on the BMWHP.COM website links directly to a website called FastFieros.com. This is the same PO BOX that Floyd has BUT it has a different name, “Loyde Rascoe”. So now we have a “Floyd Rasc” that we know in the S1000RR communities and a “Loyde Rascoe” with the same address. Not to mention both these names sound insanely similar.
Looking up “Fast Fieros of Dallas” (phrase seen on Google search associated with Loyde Rascoe) got REALLY interesting. Lots of posts of customers saying “Loyde” took thousands and thousands of their money, their cars, and in many cases for performance work BUT Loyde never did anything with the cars. He let them sit in his backyard, never to complete the project or repay the money. After doing this to a few dozen people, people got suspicious and started making threads about who else had fallen victim to Loyde Rascoe. This is when he left the forum and stopped responding to anyone. Police and apparently the FBI got involved and lots of unhappy people that never got the work done that they paid for. You can look at endless forum postings and shitposting about Loyde by Googling “Fast Fieros of Dallas”.
If we could put up all the screenshots, we would. It looks like a lot of people had some VERY bad experiences with Loyde Rascoe.

At this point I decided to run a background check on Floyd Rasc.. but nothing showed up. He doesn’t exist. Loyde Rascoe, on the other hand, DOES exist. Same phone number that he has on the “Fast Fieros” website too. Same name and address that other's had claimed on the Fast Fieros website as well. (See below for the large image that has the Fast Fieros email on it. The names are almost alike, ages are the same, his birthday on Facebook is only two days away from his actual birthday. He didn't do a good job of hiding his new alias from his real name. When this information was posted on Facebook some of his friends admitted "Floyd Rasc" was not his real name. They went on to say, "what's wrong with having a little anonymity in an online world?". Nothing is wrong with that!.. EXCEPT he didn't need this layer of anonymity in the Fiero community until he needed to disappear after performing his illicit activities. Floyd Rasc is Loyde Rascoe. Even the name on the Zelle account Floyd Rasc requests you pay him with links to a person living at Loyde's house.
Burglary and Theft are only a couple charges that were found in the course of the investigation. This tells us we aren't dealing with a normal person, but a person with a criminal history. This establishes a consistent criminal behavior with a low moral compass. See below for theft charge that was reduced to a misdemeanor by a Grand Jury. No, Grand Jury's aren't usually summoned for a misdemeanor. This had to be a result of some sort of plea deal.
You can look at endless forum postings and shitposting about Loyde by googling “Fast Fieros of Dallas”. Users discuss their nightmare experiences losing $8,000-10,000 of deposits EACH. There are so many victims that the amount of money lost from everyone much be in the six figures. People not receiving cars or product and some needing to get the law involved to pull their cars out of there. Loyde then, after being caught red handed, leaves the forum and disappears for two plus years – goes overseas and no longer responds to anyone. On his website he cryptically states “under new ownership” to quell the ocean of emails he was getting from people looking for their money. You will see a pattern of Loyde being a forum help and befriending all of these people as an expert, then taking all their money and turning his back on them.
Google Earth helped confirm the "Fiero Acres" resort LOL. Except the cars don't come back refreshed, they come back sun damaged with no work completed. If you look at Google Earth now with his address, you'll still see the Fiero's in the backyard. The appear to be in the process of the getting buried in the Texas landscape, slowly but surely.
Fast forward a few years later he signs up to S1000RR Forum and starts the same process over again with some new bait and a new name and reputation. He must have inside friends on the S1000RR Forum. They let Loyde promote XWorks without a vendor account and deletes all comments they find negative on Loyde's product posts BUT leaves all other negative comments on other's products. We confirmed this by posting something negative about XWorks and receiving a 7-day ban. Reason stated? NO REASON. We mean it literally says "NO REASON SPECIFIED" lol. True story. Be careful what info you trust on the S1000RR Forum.
